Trail Report: Weekend work is going pretty well. We have not had the turnout that we have had in the past, but we have made some good progress. We greatly appreciate it all the help from the members who have shown up. Thanks, guys – we couldn’t have done it without you!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Trailmasters meeting will be held on Saturday, December 1st in North Conway. Hank and will be attending the meeting and will discuss any necessary items at the Christmas party/meeting. Jeff Torrance and Tom Joslin will be attending the groomer training class. Hank will be holding a meeting in the near future for all members who are certified for running our groomer to discuss the upcoming season.
Fundraisers: We are going to try to hold a Poker Run this year weather permitting. We tried to do this last year, but lack of snow certainly but a halt to that. More information will be forthcoming on this.
We are in the process of making up a questionnaire to send to all members. We are looking for ideas on how we can make the club better, ideas for activities and fundraisers, etc. Please keep an eye out for this.
We are also planning on monthly club rides once the snow flies. Routes will be determined at that time depending on snow conditions and the input of participants. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. It will be a great way to meet other club members. More information to follow.
Our club will once again be sponsoring a Snowmobile Safety Course at Meredith Harley-Davidson. This course is open to anyone 12 or older. The dates are Dec 27, 28 and 29th. If anyone would like further information, please contact Meredith Harley Davidson as soon as possible. Registration must be done prior to the class date.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Meredith Village Savings Bank has closed off the snowmobile traffic through their property this year. The route off the lake at that end is unknown at this time. As soon as we hear anything, we will update you.
Our annual Christmas party will be held on Saturday, December 8th at Oak Hill Golf Course. It will begin at 6:00 pm. This will be a potluck dinner, so please bring an appetizer, main dish, side dish or dessert, and BYOB. There will also be a Yankee Swap, so each person should bring a wrapped gift. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at suemagnuson@metrocast.net or call me at 387-1919. We really hope to see another good turn-out. It’s a great time to meet some new people and maybe find some new riding partners.
HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL SOON AT THE CHRISTMAS PARTY OR ON THE TRAILS!
